A busy weekend. First a noisy but enjoyable surprise birthday party for a family member, which went on till late on Saturday. We stayed at a bed and breakfast in Shepton Mallet overnight, and after breakfast, a trip to Taunton for a Papercraft Fair, where there were a lot of goodies. A wet day but having a craft fair to browse round, it really didn't spoil the day!

We've had a lovely week in the Highlands of Scotland, hiring a self-catering cottage in Strontian. Did an awful lot in a week; found where my "plot of land" is (given to me for my 60th birthday), took a trip over to the Isle of Mull, a steam train ride from Fort William to Mallaig, visited Ardnamurchan Lighthouse, Glenfinnan Monument and Viaduct, Ardtrow Beach. Wonderful weather 22 deg C.
