Recently went to Shepton Mallet Papercraft Fair and spent, spent, spent. I assume I'm like everyone else interested in cardmaking, must have even though I don't actually need it!
I took up cardmaking several years ago, after trying out various other crafts, ie knitting, embroidery, cross stitch, but have found cardmaking to hold my attention moreso than anything else. I enjoy making cards for specific people in my life, for specific occasions such as 25th or 50th anniversaries, etc. I also like to attend craft fairs to sell my wares when possible. Since moving to the Forest of Dean in May last year, I haven't yet found an outlet for them, but hope to attend Lydbrook Fete on 23rd June this year, so if you're around the area, do come and hunt me out. I'm in touch with several cardmaking bloggers in the Gloucestershire area, so hope I'll be able to meet up with you in person one day.
