We then had a "Christmas quiz", the highest score being reached by Ann, followed by Sue, and to finalise we were led into several Christmas carols by three choristers.
I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy Christmas and New Year, and to thank you for the voucher presented to me at the lunch, and for your support throughout the year. I look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.

Six girls met for our Christmas Lunch which was a very good meal in a pleasant venue. Lots of chat and getting to know one another a bit more. A pity there weren't more of us. The weather was awful, a thick frost that hasn't moved all day, and freezing fog, so once we had left the Golf Club, it was a pleasure to get back home in the warm.
